🧶 Ugly Sweater Party
Ugly Sweater Party Bingo Cards
Pom-poms, light-up reindeer, a knitted Santa with googly eyes, and at least one sweater somebody's grandmother really did make. Guests mark what they spot on other people's sweaters, so everyone gets looked at — which is the whole point of wearing one.
Start from the 30 words below, swap in your own, and download a print-ready PDF. Every card in the batch is guaranteed different, so nobody shares a winning square.
6 sample ugly sweater party cards
Every card below is built from the same word list and no two are the same. Each is on a different one of the background illustrations you can pick between in the designer.

When ugly sweater party bingo works
A party where the sweaters are the entertainment
People put real effort into these outfits, then get one compliment at the door and nothing else. A card sends every guest around the room looking closely at everyone else's sweater, which is exactly the attention the effort was for.
Getting a mixed crowd talking
Spotting a square on a stranger's sweater is the easiest opening line there is. It works at a neighborhood party or a company event where half the room hasn't met, because the conversation starts with the reindeer rather than with small talk.
Warming up for the best-sweater vote
Run a round while people arrive and hand out the tackiest-sweater prize at the end. The game has everyone studying the contenders first, so the vote is between sweaters people have actually looked at.

How do players mark a square?
When they spot it on someone else's sweater — pom-poms, bells, a reindeer, anything that lights up. Make it a rule that your own sweater doesn't count, or whoever wore the most elaborate one wins before the first drink is poured.
What if nobody is wearing one of the squares?
Swap it out before you print. Read the list with your guest list in mind: if nobody you know owns a light-up sweater, replace that square with something that will turn up, like a sweater worn inside out or a couple in matching ones.
Are these ugly sweater party bingo cards really free?
Yes. Unlimited card downloads, no account, no subscription. Free cards carry a small printmybingocards.com watermark; a clean set without it is a one-off $5–$16.99 depending on how many cards are in the batch.
Will every card be different?
Yes. Generate up to 100 cards in one batch and every one gets its own arrangement of your words — checked card against card, so no two people in the room are playing the same grid.
How do I print them?
The download is a PDF, laid out for US Letter or A4, that you can print at home or at a copy shop. Choose one, two or four cards per page — four is the paper-saving option, one gives the biggest squares to mark. It ends with a caller's sheet and call slips to cut out, so the host has everything too. Ordinary paper is fine; cardstock holds up better if the cards get handled all evening.
Can I change the words?
All 30 of them. The ugly sweater party list is a starting point — delete anything that does not fit, paste in your own, and the cards are built from whatever you end up with.
How to actually run the game
You have the cards. These cover the rest of it — the rules, the hosting, and what separates a caller who keeps a room going from one reading out a list.
